Brief Introduction

This is my 11th year teaching composition and literature at Moraine Valley. I love meeting new groups of students each semester. When not on campus or grading papers, I ride my horse, cook for my family, and read and write as much as I can. I live tweet, @equuscholar, some of my favorite TV shows (#Dracula, #SleepyHollow, #GameofThrones, #Justified)  and I write critical essays and poetry when not addicted to Pinterest. My most recent publication appeared in the Spring 2013 issue of Studies in Popular Culture.

 I don't travel often, but when I do, I try to take cool pics.
